Yes, that's the right one.
They have a direct contact page here , but they'll probably ignore it as it's a support issue.
Six armbraces seems a really low amount to get banned for. Might be worth giving your details to Gaile in a PM, Prof?

Thanks very much, Saraphim
I'm waiting for an answer from Ask a Question first, I think
I'll see what they tell me, then after, I'll maybe inform Gaile.

Your point was one I hadn't considered until now. Considering the events in the last 36 or so hours, I'm glad my guild and alliance does not allow trade adverts in either channels.

May I ask a question?
Why are the moderators allowing this public trial of certain players and guilds to continue?
Back when the trade window bug was introduced, some people posted screen shots of certain people and the moderators removed them and said that it was against forum policy. Is this no longer correct?

People who sold items for ambraces shouldnt of been banned really , its anets fault the exploit was there , its there fault they were all circulating , yes punish the abusers but not the general population who were just trying to get abit of gold in there pocket. Typical thou , they were careful about who they banned clearly I wonder if they let the same guy do it that updated the game with the exploit present.

This is kinda funny that i didnt even notice the prices had gone down, lol. But its not funny that people got their accounts deleted, then again i can understand what Gaile is saying.
Its like buying a Mercedes SLR McLaren for the price of a Ford Focus. Think people, something is not right.

It's a bit different when you get offered approximately 600 million gold for something in the form of armbraces. Common sense tends to kick in and make you think - yeah, I'm not going to trust this.

The exploit is closed but their are still players being banned, i don't want to buy an armbrace for 100k +50e and get a ban the very next day..

They're sleeping. What you need is a Moderator that only work at night and strike fear into any forum poster. Something like a BatMod.

All these posts about "I never go to big towns, I only have 4k on my whole account, i've never seen an armbrace. I got banned!"
How could this be true, i'm sure Anet haven't just banned people because they feel like it. Banning anyone innocent is pretty detrimental for their business and whatever so i'm sure they wouldn't ban people with absolutely nothing wrong with them like these people claim to be.
But also I think the victimisation of [OhNo] is pretty harsh, the people on these forums cannot prove they have done anything so they shouldn't be taking matters into their own hands. If Anet has proof that's their business not a guru users. To people saying that only the guild leader of [OhNo] should be posting, why do you say that? If I was banned unfairly i'd be on these forums complaining about it, why shouldn't these people? They all registered at the same time to post because they all got banned around the same time and they're seeking a place to get themselves heard. It's not coincidence or conspiracy they all joined guru at the time of their bans to complain, it's entirely reasonable and logical.

I think EQ2's mass bannings were actual mass bannings.
This is peanuts compared to that.
But of course leave it to the GW community to call it a mass banning when it probably hasn't even reached the 10,000s yet.

Well, lets not be too sanctimonious here, the guilds and players came here themselves saying they were banned or their guildies were banned which is a different proposition from being accused by other players of wrongdoing but you do have a point about the pics being posted with names in it.

Well, what do you expect people to do or say? If you (you as in they, not you personally) come here claiming you are banned without cause, nota bene on a forum where they cannot intervene for you or assist you in anyway with removing said ban, right after certain people who were proven to have 1250 AoT's in their inventory come here protesting how innocent they are.
Is [OhNo] treated harshly? Perhaps but its also the case that they are inviting such treatment on themselves, claiming innocence here isnt going to matter one iota, Anet wont take any action because you posted here. Anyone can claim to be innocent and some do so even when there's clear evidence to the contrary, people tend to get a bit sceptical about such claims especially on the Internet

i think the heavy dupers should be banned. i think people who bought duped items in moderation should have their accounts frozen for 6 months and the items removed. and i think people who bought duped items in very small numbers should get a month ban and the items removed.
When it comes to trading you can't actually find out the history of the item you are buying and I think its unfair for people to be banned for it.
As for everyone saying people who bought the goods had it coming no way its that cheap, well, isn't it common sense to buy low sell high? thats how the economy goes buy a bone dragon for 80k sell for 100k
Black dye is worth 6k but someone wants to sell for 3k, omg bargain they have no idea, you buy it.
obviously if you bought say 30 arm braces for tree dollars fitty, you would have asked them....why so many, why so cheap?

No one is being sanctimonious... While I personally disagree with this public trial, I am actually asking as to what are the rules. Back then we were told that you can't post incriminating screenshots of others on the forum. Is this still true? A simple yes or no from a moderator would be appreciated.

Maybe because the thread hasn't gone off topic, or turned completely into a flame fest yet. Plus as a public forum we allow the dicussions long as no guru forum rules are broken.
Threads are just closed without careful observation first.
May I also remind you and everyone that the forums have douzones of new posts every day, please use the REPORT FUNCTION to report problem threads so mods can review and deal with them quickly.
As for me, I'm not a mod of this forum, so don't look at me
